Pricing and Pre-payment

All prices quoted are Australian dollars (AUD) confirming your place on a public Dale Carnegie program.

Payment for all Dale Carnegie events must be made in full prior to the start of session one (unless prior arrangements have been made). Dale Carnegie reserves the right to release your position if pre-payment is not received.

Substitution of Participants

Requests for substitutions can be made at any time up to 24 hours prior to commencement of program. All requests must be sent in writing to your Account Manager or to training@dalecarnegie.com.au

Cancellation

The following cancellation policies apply to all Dale Carnegie events.

A full refund will be made without penalty or obligation for cancellations by notifying Dale Carnegie at least 15 working days prior to the first session. 

A 50% refund will be made for cancellations by notifying Dale Carnegie at least 10 working days prior to the first session.

No refund will be payable should notification of cancellation be received less than 10 working days prior to the first session.

Dale Carnegie Program Postponement

All events are scheduled with the full intention of proceeding as originally marketed. It is with regret that circumstances beyond our control can prevent this from happening. As such, Dale Carnegie reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any programs.

All care will be taken to give suitable notice when cancelling or rescheduling a program, however, Dale Carnegie shall not, in any way be held responsible for any costs, including loss of airfare, hotel expense or other expenses in which the participant may incur.

The amount paid can be credited towards another program if Dale Carnegie has cancelled the program the participant has registered for. This credit must be used within a 12-month period or incur loss of the full amount paid.

Confidentiality

Both you and Dale Carnegie shall take reasonable steps to ensure that all information coming to your/our knowledge which relates to your business and the services of Dale Carnegie will remain confidential. Confidential information shall include but not be limited to the Dale Carnegie copyright material and other intellectual property and the substance of any reports, assessments, recommendations or advice Dale Carnegie shall provide to you in connection with the services we provide.

Intellectual property

All existing Dale Carnegie intellectual property rights (including copyright, tool designs and methodologies) subsisting in materials and information provided by Dale Carnegie to you, vest exclusively and remain vested exclusively in Dale Carnegie. Dale Carnegie grants you a non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty free limited licence to use Dale Carnegie’s intellectual property solely in relation to the activities and purposes of the program you are registered in.

Privacy policy

Dale Carnegie understands the importance of issues relating to privacy and is sensitive to personal information collected about participants in its programs. Dale Carnegie is committed to complying with the National Privacy Principles (NPPs), which are contained in the Privacy Act 1988.

Where it holds information on individuals, it does so in order to provide better or more relevant products or services for the individual or the organisation with which he/she is associated.
